From April 24th-26th, several seminarians from HTOS participated in an OISM retreat hosted by Christ the Saviour Seminary (ACROD) at Camp Nazareth in Mercer, PA.

On May 10, the 5th Sunday of Pascha - Sunday of the Samaritan Woman, Subdeacon Timothy Zelinski (M.Div. HTOS class of ’24) was ordained to the diaconate by Bishop Luke of Syracuse at Holy Trinity Monastery Cathedral in Jordanville.

On May 1, the entire Council of Bishops of ROCOR, together with dozens of diocesan clergy, assembled for the Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of the New Martyrs in Munich.

On The Great Feast of The Entrance of our Lord into Jerusalem (Palm Sunday), which fell this past Sunday , March 23/April 5, prior to the Hierarchal Divine Liturgy and during the 6th Hour, His Grace, Bishop LUKE of Syracuse, Rector of Holy Trinity Seminary, set aside - tonsured 1st year M.Div. (graduate) student Caleb Short as a Reader.

On Tuesday evening, March 19/31, after the conclusion of Great Compline, His Grace Bishop Luke preformed seven monastic tonsures at Holy Trinity Monastery, including four into the Angelic (lesser) Schema, and advancing three novices to the status of Rassophore Monks.

As has become the custom in recent years, with the blessing of Metropolitan Nicholas, the Eastern American Diocese held the Lenten clergy retreat for the northern portion of the diocese at Holy Trinity Monastery and Seminary in Jordanville from Monday to Wednesday of the week following the 3rd Sunday of the Great Fast - the Sunday of the Cross. This year, the retreat took place between March 16-18.

Preparations for the Academic Conference Marking the Centennial of the German Diocese Are Underway.

On February 2/15, the Great Feast of the Meeting of the Lord in the Temple and the Sunday of the Last Judgement, Archimandrite Michael (Crowley) was consecrated at Holy Trinity Monastery in Jordanville, NY as the Bishop of Boston, Vicar of the Diocese of New York and Eastern America.
