On Thursday, September 17, 2015, Rector Archimandrite Luke (Murianka) gave his opening talk to the seminarians. He spoke about the importance of improving oneself spiritually and intellectually while at the seminary and throughout life. This is a  time in each seminarian's life where they are given a blessing by God to grow in the spiritual life. They have the unique obedience to pray and prepare for a life of service to the Church. Following the talk, the seminary had its annual opening BBQ with the seminarians and faculty behind the seminary dorm. Faculty, students, staff, community members, and brothers of the Holy Trinity Monastery gathered together to enjoy one of the last summer days of the year in fellowship and good food.
